At Aunty’s, we believe a child's earliest experiences shape their love of learning. Our center provides a safe, nurturing, family style environment where your children are respected as individuals and encouraged to explore the world around them.
We balance structured learning with play based discovery. With this your child develops socially, emotionally, and cognitively. Through meaningful relationships with their peers and teachers, hands on activities, and consistent routines; your child will build the skills they need to succeed in kindergarthen and beyond.
Officially my name is Mrs. Phanta Tofa!
Throughout my career I have taken on various roles with children for more than 20 years. I began my journey in Hawaii and when my family and I relocated to Washington, I continued my journey in childcare.
My background is specifically in special education. As a professional, I taught until 2010 when I decided that I wanted to become a licensed childcare provider. I also maintain a credential for a registered nurse assistant (NAR) through the Washington Department of Health since 2012.
On a personal note, I am a mother of six who loves her family deeply. We are equal parts crazy as we are fun! My family is my support and driving force to be able to provide the care that I do for other families.
As a parent, I understand the difficulties of finding care providers you are comfortable with and those who can cater to your child’s unique needs and scheduling. Therefore, I run my daycare as if everyone in it is my family, ensuring that all children are well taken care of.
